Developed by Rockwell Group and Lightstone, The Ready provides a low-key backyard vibe thanks to its green wall, hand-painted murals, and casual seating. Resembling a house party, the bar even boasts a beer pong table and canned drinks served in table-side coolers. In addition to a limited capacity, the bar has mobile ordering and contactless payment. When the rooftop bar reopens for the season on April 30, you can expect socially distanced drinks and food, as well as live DJ sets every night. Zona de Cuba is the brainchild of the owners of the popular La Marina in Inwood on the Hudson River and the owners put in a lot of money and paid attention to every detail possible to make this space The Bronx’s most unique restaurant and entertainment space. The owners even claim that it’s the largest rooftop restaurant in all of NYC. When we took a sneak peek last February, we knew right away that this would be a special placed unparalleled in The Bronx and dare we say even in many places in Manhattan.
